  • March 26 – Extra Long conversation with craftbeergirl (aka Barbara)

    We were introduced to Barb (craftbeergirl) and a conversation was inevitable, so Barb spends some time with us to talk us through her current three favourite beers. The ‘Exile on North Street’ IPA from unfiltered brewing, the ‘Purple Grain’ IPA from Lunn’s Mill, and the ‘Clock Work’ imperial stout from Boxing Rock Brewing Co.

  • Dec 11 – IPA night with Keir, David, and Ananda

    Ross is joined by David, Keir, and Ananda to drink some of the IPAs in the NSLC that we’ve yet to rate. With some difficulty in availability, we manage to discuss the Kilted IPA from New Scotland Brewing Co, and the First Cut IPA from Lunn’s Mill.

  • June 11 – It’s not often 2 Bocks come along

    In fact, we had to wait several months even to get a second, but both are available! Ian and Ross compare the “Not Your Bock” Maibock from Lunn’s Mill Brewing Company with “The Doppler” Doppelbock from Hill Top Hops.

  • April 23 – Hard-to-find Dark beers from Westside Wine & Spirits

    After taking a week off, Ross invites James and Jon back and they bring some fares from a non-NSLC in Clayton Park: “Westside Wine & Spirits”. They try some choices James made in the “Werewolf” Porter from Burnside Brewing, the “Onyx” Stout from Propeller, and the “Caber Crusher” stout from Lunn’s Mill.

    Ian and Ross drink some brews from Lunn’s Mill and chat with brewmaster Sean Ebert. The Purple Grain IPA, ‘Girl Hold My Earrings” Berliner Weisse, and the Caber Crusher Stout.

    Ian and Ross decide to get into the strong stuff. From Smokehouse Nano Brewery, the Grandfather’s Tartan Wee Heavy Scotch Ale, and from Lunn’s Mill Brewing Co, Le Domaine Saison Biere Forte.
