  • June 18 – Sour Summer Sips

Ian is off to Jolly Ol’ England again, so Ross is joined by Brittany, who likes sours. So we’ve got a few that she picked up herself at the LC for the summer season: the “Hawaiian Crush” from Garrison, the “Good Stuff” fruited sour from Half Cocked Brewery, and the “Pesh Fuze” peach sour from…

  • June 11 – The ‘W’ is for ‘White’… we think

Weisse, Weizen, Witbier, there are so many names for these belgian/german ‘white’ beers, so we’re just gonna try a bunch. ‘Weizen Up” Heifeweizen from the now-closed Off Track Brewing, “White” Belgian-Style Witbier from Propeller, and “Bohemian Raspberry” Berliner Weiss from Nine Locks.

  • May 21 – Muted Stouts… literally

Ian and Ross have a couple of Scotch Ales to try, the ‘Wee Heavy’ from Sea Level, and the Scotch Ale from Nine Locks.

Ian and Ross are joined by Ananda in this special post-St Paddy’s Day celebration of european-style lagers which we endeavour to drop some green dye into for that authentic north american tradition. It doesn’t affect the flavour as we compare the “Wiener Logger” from Nine Locks Brewing Co to the “Mutiny!” lager from Route 19…

  • Feb 13 – Sweet Porters for Valentine’s Day

Ian and Ross discuss the pronunciation and pluralization of “Valentine’s”, but also try some sweeter dark beers. Vanilla Porter from Nine Locks and the Exit 14 Porter from Truro Brewing Co.

  • Oct 31 – Leftover Pumpkin Ales Solo

Ross goes solo to try two Pumpkin ales that didn’t make the table the previous week, Nine Locks’ Harvest Pumpkin Ale and Propeller’s Pumpkin Spiced Ale. He also finishes off a leftover Gravedigger from PEI.

  • Oct 3 – American Pale Ales

Ian and Ross try a couple of APAs from Annapolis Brewing Company and Nine Locks Brewing, as it seems to be a less scathing flavour profile. Or at least it is meant to, we think.
